Today we celebrate 12 Months Alcohol-Free!

And without question, this is definitely the clearest my mind has ever been!

Over the past 12 months we’ve:

-Created a business for the little one ===> Timber & Tides by Marlee

-Helped coach the first Emu Park U12 girls rugby league team which we took to an all girls carnival.

-Scaled business for Firehawk Strength.

-Brought wifey the car she’s been wanting for the past 5 years.

-Dove back into powerlifting whilst cutting 18KG.

-Got back into some really great fishing.

-Got a clear vision of where we’re heading.

To be honest I had no idea how much I’d actually achieved over the past 12 months and now that I’ve reflected I’m super proud of where I am right now.

Another reminder that small changes compound over time. You just have to keep showing up even on those challenging days 🦅

Today, me and Jay went on a fossicking adventure at the Mount Hay Gemstone Tourist Park
Where we discovered the magic of thunder eggs, nature's unique way of preserving minerals within lava-formed gas bubbles.
If you do make the trip out there, be prepared to play pick up sticks with Bobby the resident puppy🐶

The real purpose of a goal is to grow.
It causes you to draw something out of yourself that you didn't even know was there.
It challenges your self-image.
It demands that you become more.
It stretches your thinking.

If you set a goal and know how to reach it...
you've probably set the wrong goal.
That's not growth, that's sideways movement.

Set the kind of goal that scares you a little and excites you a lot.
Then commit.

Because who you become in the process is the real reward.

Life has been very busy lately.

My little one sold all of her handmade cutting boards at her first market stall so thank you for all of your support for Timber & Tides by Marlee

Last weekend we went on our first family fishing trip to celebrate Marlee‘s birthday.

It’s important to have goals but it’s just as important to put time aside for family.

Now to keep pushing forward with my personal goals 🦅

It’s been a rough week of us wanting to kill each other. Yesterday we took a sneaky flight to pick up and drive wifeys Isuzu MUX 700km reminding us that storms are indeed only temporary.

Although our girls were beyond nervous during their warm up. They pulled themselves together for their first game and first win of the season. Something special to see considering half of these girls have never played footy in their lives. Outstanding effort girls, we’re super proud of you!

My lifelong goal has always been to ignite change in others by transforming my own habits.

Weighed in at 92.9kg today. The plan is to sit under 90kg then compete in powerlifting again. Let’s see how far we can push the limits with this vintage natural body 😂 💪 🦅 😎

Wishing the happiest of birthdays to my beautiful wife today 🎁🎂🥳

Fun fact-Some years ago, Wifey was mowing the front lawn and mid way through, she mows straight over the water meter! Waters pouring out everywhere, luckily it struck after the cut off valve so we were able to turn the water off and call the council.
Council guy shows up and starts filling out the paperwork he says “so somebody drove over the water meter and took off right?” Knowing exactly what had happened just so that we didn’t have to pay for the repairs 😂😂😂
