I realised that when I wrote about this before, I forgot a critical mechanism about how psychedelics work - that of changing relationships.

We are in relationship to everything around us and inside us - even thoughts. Psychedelics fundamentally change the way we view these relationships - in our inner world (our unconscious and biology), our interpersonal relationships, and the outer / ecological world (the earth, the universe and everything!)
