The BLUE BLUR is back! 🚙 💨

After an incident with a roo 🦘…we appropriately invested in a decent bull-bar once the repairs were finally done 🫡 (4 months to get in, and 3 months in workshop!!!!😅😱🫣).

We’re glad to get our chariot back… assisting us to reach patients where care is needed; in homes, on farms and at workplaces. 💜

👏 🩺 🫀 We are incredibly proud to announce a new collaboration between Ouyen Pharmacy, Mallee Track Health & Community Service and Sisu Health 🙌

This week, we will be delivering FREE health checks to our community (usually valued at around $50) 💪🩺

These quick but powerful checks include:

This exciting partnership will see Pharmacists A1, A2 and Ang out and about across the community with RN Tamara from Sea Lake MTHCS.

Because here’s the thing… while erectile dysfunction “ED” can feel like an awkward topic, as health professionals we actually take it pretty seriously.

👉 ED affects up to 1 in 5 men over 40
👉 And it’s not always “just one of those things”… it can sometimes be an early warning sign of cardiovascular disease ❤️

Wherever medicines are… pharmacists are too 💊🚗💜.

We had a request to provide at-home vaccinations for vulnerable patients in Manangatang - and as always, when there’s a healthcare need… we find a way 🙌💪💜

This week that meant hitting the road and heading out over 100km round trip after closing the shop in Ouyen 🌾🚜🛣️🌅 to deliver care directly where it was needed most 🏡💉🚗💨

And yes… we couldn’t pass up the chance to stop in at the iconic Manangatang Hotel 🍽️ 🤤(rural hospitality at its finest! 🤠👏).

We love that we are seeing more and more patients from Manangatang trusting us with their care 🤝💜🌾😊 We are only more than happy to assist!

😲 Massive CONGRATS to our absolute superstar pharmacy technician Danielle 🙌💊

Today she officially ticked off her Certificate III in Community Pharmacy with the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia 🎓👏 📚 🤓

Danielle has pursued her studies with determination and an eager thirst for knowledge. Even finishing her qualification ahead of schedule 🤯👏

Working full time AND studying is no easy feat either. 😅 But she absolutely smashed it!!! 👏

The sky is the limit for this one 🚀👍

(We’re quietly hoping she becomes a pharmacist one day 👀👩‍⚕️💊… and if she does, she’ll have our full support every step of the way 💜😉).

Recently we attended Ouyen P-12 College to conduct annual flu vaccinations for the staff. 💉 💊 This is the 5th year in a row we have been invited back to conduct this service 🥰🥰🥰.

Getting annual flu vaccination can help reduce risk of serious illness over the colder months. Influenza can be particularly unpleasant/dangerous for those with asthma, diabetes, those 65+ or win lowered immune systems.

If you would like a flu vaccine, feel free to talk in during the week. It is quick and easy.

$2.50 from EVERY flu vaccine we administer until 30th June goes towards Ouyen P-12 College breakfast club breakfast🍳🥞🥚!
