It’s the deep fatigue that comes after years of masking, adapting, and showing up in a world that often misunderstands your needs.

You might lose words. You might feel like you’re disappearing.
You might need stillness, silence, sameness — and that doesn’t make you wrong. It means your nervous system is calling for care.

And if you’re still functioning, still showing up - people might not see it.
But burnout isn’t just about being tired. It’s what happens when your brain is constantly working overtime in a world that never lets it rest.

ADHD burnout can look like:
→ Doing more but feeling less
→ Shame spirals over small tasks
→ Sleep that doesn’t help
→ Pushing through because… who else will?

If this hit something in you — you’re not alone.
You don’t need to earn your rest.
You don’t need to wait until you’ve crashed.

This is your permission to pause. To soften. To let the burnout be real.

This is what that actually looks like.

The neurodivergent brain isn’t broken. It’s processing more. More sensory input, more connections, more data all at once. That can look like overwhelm, creativity, shutdown, innovation, burnout—or all of the above.

🌈 Our brains are built differently—and that difference is real.
📣 We don’t need to “mask better.” We need support that fits our wiring.

Let’s stop asking neurodivergent people to shrink into systems that were never made for us. Let’s start celebrating the actual science behind neurodivergence.
