W welcome Dr Loona to our practice. She is available Monday and Thursday.

Dr. Loona is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She obtained certificate for skin cancer check & management. She did her post-graduate diploma in child health (DCH) from Women's & children's hospitals in Adelaide, South Australia.
She is an overseas medical graduate who relocated to Australia with her family in 2009. She earned work experience at different public hospitals in Victoria & Queensland. She also has more than 9 years of Australian experience in general practice & served regional Queensland.
With a patient-friendly approach, her special interest is in women's & children's health, preventative health, chronic disease management, skin cancer management and mental health care.

Proof of your COVID-19 vaccination can be accessed online. For Medicare card holders, you can access it through your myGov account and even download a copy to keep on your smartphone. Non-Medicare card holders can access it by asking a vaccination provider to print a copy of your immunisation history statement for you.

We are OPEN during lockdown for all your healthcare needs. We are here to help but also to keep everyone safe and have very strict practice policies in place to ensure the safety of our community so we strongly recommend the use of Telehealth consultations so that you are not required to leave your home.

โŽ Your mask should not sit under your nose or hang around your neck.

Updated COVID-19 vaccine advice โ€“ what you need to know:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Pfizer is now the recommended COVID-19 vaccine for adults aged under 60 years
๐Ÿ‘‰ Anyone who has had their first dose of AstraZeneca without any serious adverse reactions is safe to have their second dose
๐Ÿ‘‰ To get the full benefit of the COVID-19 vaccine you need two doses of the same brand โ€“ either Pfizer or AstraZeneca โ€“ you cannot mix and match
๐Ÿ‘‰ Pfizer is available at all Queensland Health vaccination locations for people aged 50-59 years, in addition to those who are already eligible

๐Ÿ˜ท Mask requirements across Queensland are coming into effect from 5pm today (Monday 29 March).

You must carry a face mask with you at all times when you leave home, unless you have a lawful reason not to.

You must wear a mask in indoor spaces, such as:
๐Ÿ›’ shopping centres, supermarkets, retail outlets and indoor markets
๐Ÿฅ hospitals and aged care facilities
โ˜• hospitality venues such as restaurants and cafรฉs (not required for patrons while seated; customer facing staff only)
โ›ช churches and places of worship
๐Ÿ“š libraries
๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ indoor recreational facilities and gyms (except if doing strenuous exercise)
๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ indoor workplaces (where safe to wear a mask and you canโ€™t physically distance)
๐Ÿš† public transport, taxis and rideshare, including waiting areas and queues for this transport
โœˆ๏ธ airports and travelling on planes.

It is strongly recommended you wear a mask outdoors if you are unable to stay more than 1.5m distance from other people, such as busy walkways and thoroughfares.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Masks do not need to be worn in some circumstances, including children under 12 years, where people have certain medical conditions, and in workplaces where it is not safe to do so.
