Hey mamas π
Can we talk about what happens AFTER the baby arrives? Because the first few months can feel like everyone's focused on the baby (as they should be!) while your body quietly holds on to all the things it went through.
Upper back aching from feeds and carries. A pelvis that still doesn't feel quite like yours. Core that seems to have forgotten how to switch on. Hips that click when you finally get a moment to move.
This is the fourth trimester, and it's really common to push through it thinking it'll just resolve on its own. Sometimes it does. But sometimes those patterns stick around longer than they should, and then you're trying to get back into exercise wondering why things feel so off.
Returning to movement after birth is something Amanda sees every week in the clinic. Whether you had a straightforward birth or a more complex one, your body deserves a proper check-in before you go back to high-impact activity.
If you're a few weeks, months, or even a year postpartum and something still feels unsettled, you're not being dramatic. Come in and let's have a look. π
