Is it another Friday night and you feel lonely?

I do not believe that we are determined by our relationship status or in fact need to find “our second half” (eye roll) to be happy.

Yet, the research shows that loving relationships is the key factor for living a long and fulfilling life! Of course, it is not necessarily intimate relationships but also friendship, mentorship, social connections.

If you are someone, who WANTS to be with someone and build a healthy, positive relationship or may be you have already met someone special but there are repeated issues between you - join my new course!!!

Together we will explore some of the key concepts from couple therapy such as attachment and needs, relationship red flags, how to navigate conflict etc.

One of my proudest moment is when a friend of mine trusted me with coming out that he was gay. For many of you may be it is not a big deal and this is how it should be (even if I’m not a big fan of shoulds, in this case it is highly appropriate).

The thing is it happened over 25 years ago and it happened in Russia, not only a very conservative culture back then but also where being gay was a criminal offence! It is still punished and suppressed over there!

Since then I made more wonderful connections with LGBTI+ community and have dear friends and clients with whom we sat down and talked about options, fears, sense of freedom to be oneself!!!

Recently when talking to my child about same s*x marriages, I was touched to tears to hear: “Love is love. What’s the big deal, mom?”

Not a big deal, honey, EVERYONE has a right to be who they are, explore who they want to be and experience love and acceptance!!! You are absolutely right!!! I am so glad that for you it is absolutely normal!!!

We have just finished my new Happier You course. Every Thursday night these amazing women (and some who are not on the picture) would meet in the virtual space to discuss important topics like self-compassion, emotions, boundaries, destructive patterns, correlation between what we want and what we believe we deserve and much more.

They showed up consistently for themselves even if it was raining, they had work commitments, they were travelling or even 6 month pregnant 🤰

With such commitment to their growth and healing I believe there is only one possible future outcome for them - to feel happier and more fulfilled!!! I wish you all that from all my heart!

Thank you for teaching me so much as well!
