Live 2 Achieve - Friday 22nd May 2026

What a perfect end to the week at Live 2 Achieve, celebrating some birthdays and splitting across 3 groups for our days activities!

The first group spent the day at Lilypond where they had a disco to celebrate Holli, Lily, Kerrie & Cliff. It was a great time dancing and singing to some of our favourite songs with the DJ taking song requests. Between all the dancing and fun we took the time to sing happy birthday to our friends and give them their cards and presents.

The second group went to Officer District Park where they had a play on the playground there before heading to Officer Club for lunch. They used their communications skills to each order their own lunch and then practiced table manners, using our knives and forks. They got to meet up to celebrate the birthdays in the afternoon back at Lilypond.

The final group headed to Hijinx Hotel at Chadstone for a day of games and some friendly competition. After the games they had lunch at the food court before heading back to Lakeside where they caught up with each other about their weekend plans.

Live 2 Achieve - Thursday 21st May 2026

Happy Thursday everyone, we had a lovely day at Live 2 Achieve splitting across 3 groups for our days activities.

The first group went to Ozpin for a game of bowling where today's winner was Harry with 133 pins. The group then had a lovely lunch at Fountain Gate and a short walk around the shops.

The second group went to Bunjil Library where they did some reading as well as some fun videos games as well. The group had a great time before meeting the bowling group at Fountain Gate where they got to catch up about their days and have a walk around the shops.

The final group did their gym class at Cardinia Life where they worked up a sweat and had some fun doing physical activity. They had a good time moving their bodies to be healthy! In the afternoon they did some games and other art activities before heading home.

Live 2 Achieve - Wednesday 20th May 2026

What a great day we had at Live 2 Achieve splitting across 4 groups for our days activities.

The first group took part in a cooking program at Lilypond, where they made delicious burgers. Everyone lent a helping hand, from completing the shopping to preparing ingredients, cooking, and washing up afterwards. The burgers turned out great, and the group enjoyed sharing the meal together. In the afternoon, participants relaxed with games and other fun activities.

The second group took part in their volunteering at Gembrook Wildlife, where they continued carrying out their important responsibilities of preparing food, cleaning enclosures, and feeding some of the animals. The group worked hard throughout the day, and their ongoing support is always greatly appreciated. Great job, team!

At the Narre Warren op shop they had lots of work for our team to do. The group got stuck into sorting the donations and getting them ready for the shop floor. Fantastic job to this team for putting in some time volunteering for local op shops.

The final group went swimming at Casey Arc where they had some free swimming and Hydro therapy. They did a great job in their classes and had lots of fun with the wave pool. They then had lunch at Fountain Gate and chatted about the rest of the weeks plans and a walk around the shops.

Live 2 Achieve - Tuesday 19th May 2026

Happy Tuesday team! Today we split across 3 groups for the days activities at Live 2 Achieve.

The first group continued working on their Certificate I in Work Education, focusing on maths skills as well as developing their micro-business projects. Everyone worked hard and continued building valuable workplace and life skills.

The second group headed to Cardinia Life, where they enjoyed playing basketball together. They practised a range of skills before finishing with a friendly game as a group. Everyone had a fantastic time staying active, building teamwork skills, and encouraging one another throughout the session.

The final group headed to Village Cinemas to see The Sheep Detective. It was a heartwarming and entertaining movie filled with mystery, humour, and plenty of memorable moments. The group really enjoyed following the story and sharing lots of laughs together throughout the film, making it a fantastic outing for everyone involved.

Live 2 Achieve - Monday 18th May 2026

Welcome back for another gorgeous week at Live 2 Achieve, today we split across 5 groups for our days activities!

The first group got to visit Bubble Planet, which was a super cool interactive exhibition. Some of our young people have already been enjoying the activity and this group was no different. They had a blast especially in the ball pit and the pictures tell you everything.

The second group did a cooking program at Lilypond where they made burgers! Everyone gave a helping hand from shopping, chopping up ingredients, putting their burgers together and washing up. It was a delicious meal to share at the start of the week.

The third group took part in some travel training, where they used the PTV app to plan how to get to the local library using public transport. They did a fantastic job navigating the trip before catching the bus to the library together. While there, the group enjoyed some reading, games, and colouring activities, making it both a fun and educational outing.

The fourth group continued with their weekly wildlife volunteering at Locky's! Each week they help clean enclosures, prepare food, and feed the animals that live there. Fantastic work team!

The final group went bowling at Ozpin today where the winners were Donnie & Declan in each of their lanes. The group then spent the afternoon at Fountain Gate having lunch in the food court and a short walk around the shops before returning to Lakeside.

Live 2 Achieve - Friday 15th May 2026

Happy Friday everyone and what a splendid way to end the week. We split across 4 groups for our day's activities.

The first group spent the day at Lilypond where they did some clay art as well as other games and activities throughout the day. Everyone had a go at making a jewellery or trinket holder out of the clay in different shapes. In the afternoon they also did some individual art projects like colouring or gem art.

The second group had their bi-weekly OT sessions today. One group focused on developing cutting skills and music rhythm activities, while the other group worked on cooking skills in the kitchen by making sandwiches and practising cleaning up afterwards. Everyone did a fantastic job building their independence and everyday living skills

The third group went bowling at Ozpin where Daimon was the winner today on 110 pins! It was a close game, and the group went to Fountain Gate afterwards for lunch before heading back to Lakeside. In the afternoon some of the group went for a walk to enjoy the nice weather while others relaxed until it was time to go home.

The final group headed to the cinema to watch the new film Mortal Combat 2. The group thoroughly enjoyed the flick with all the action and fighting. They then got to enjoy lunch in the food court before heading back to Lakeside.

Live 2 Achieve - Thursday 14th May 2026

Happy Thursday everyone, we split across 3 groups for today's activities at Live 2 Achieve!

The first group did their cooking program where they made chicken schnitzel with homemade chips and salad. It was great to have a delicious and healthy meal to share. In the afternoon the group did some arts and games until it was time to head home.

The second group did some volunteering at Kerry's bookshop today. This group has been doing fantastic work here helping set up for the weekend markets. Their organising skills are unmatched and it's always such a fun time to chat while they work.

The final group went to TimeZone for a game of bowling where Harry and Logan were the winners! In the afternoon they returned to Lakeside and had fun playing some games and chatting about their weekend plans.

Live 2 Achieve - Wednesday 13th May 2026

Mid week fun at Live 2 Achieve this week, we split across 5 groups.

The first group took part in their cooking program, where they chose to make chicken wraps. Some participants completed the shopping while others helped prepare and cook the meal back at Lilypond. Everyone lent a helping hand, working together to create a delicious lunch.

The second group took part in their volunteering at Gembrook Wildlife, where they worked hard helping both indoors and outdoors. They assisted with preparing food for future animal feeds and completed a range of important tasks around the sanctuary. Fantastic effort from everyone involved!

The third group also spent the day volunteering at the Narre Warren op shops. It was a busy day as the store was changing over its stock from summer to winter, so their help was greatly appreciated. The group worked hard assisting with sorting and organising items, helping the shop prepare for the new season. Great job today, team!

The fourth group went to the Sherwood Apple Orchard where they got to pick apples and have a walk around the orchard in the sun. They got to enjoy lunch there and it was a lovely day out.

The final group went bowling at Ozpin today, it was a close game but today's winner was Jesse followed by Harry and Una.

Live 2 Achieve - Tuesday 12th May 2026

Happy Tuesday team, today we split across 3 groups for our days activities.

The first group continued work on their Cert 1 in Work Education. Today's focus was on workplace compliance and safety measures followed by some work on our micro businesses.

The second group went to Balla Balla for their morning melodies! It was a fantastic day for it as there was an Elvis impersonator performing who sung all our favourite Elvis tunes.

The final group headed to Flip Out in Narre Warren where they had a great time bouncing and doing some physical activity. The free jump area was definitely the favourite.

Live 2 Achieve - Monday 11th May 2026

Welcome back for another week at Live 2 Achieve, we split across 4 groups for our days activities.

The first group had their LivFit dance class where they practiced some of the old routines and started learning a new one! They can't wait to show it off at their next concert.

The second group went on an excursion to Bubble Planet which was such a cool experience! They got to have many photo opportunities and enjoy the interactive exhibitions.

The third group did their volunteering at Locky’s Wildlife where they helped clean the pens, feed the animals and prepare food for other meals. Great work today team.

The final group went bowling at Ozpin where Daimon was the winner on 112 pins! It was a close game with a few others in the group also getting over 100. They then had lunch at Fountain Gate before returning to Lilypond.

Live 2 Achieve - Friday 8th May 2026

Happy Friday and a very happy mothers day to all the mums out there for Sunday! Today we split across 4 groups for our days activities.

The first group got to visit Channel 9, going on a tour of their offices and studios. It was a great day out and the group even got to meet some special people from the channel.

The second group headed to fountain gate to visit TimeZone where they got to play some fun arcade games. Each person got to pick a small prize before having lunch at the food court.

The third group spent the day at Lilypond playing some music, dancing, games and jewelry making. It was a very fun day doing so many activities in one place. We absolutely love our Lilypond location.

The final group went to the movies where they saw project hail mary. It was an awesome space film about saving the world. The group really enjoyed the film and got to chat about it after over lunch.
