It was with so much sadness that I learnt last week of the passing of Dr Sue Johnson. Sue was an absolute giant in our field and a huge inspiration to me personally. Sue Johnson is a household name to my family and when I told my children she had passed away, one of them realised "Oh no Mum, now your dream of meeting her in person can never come true." I never did get to meet Sue, but I feel like I knew her. I have learnt so much from the online trainings I did with her, the hours and hours of videos I've watched of her providing therapy and reading all of her books multiple times. Sue showed me and EFT therapists around the world, what love is really all about and how to help people hurting in relationships. As a colleague has said; now that Sue is no longer with us, we as EFT therapists have an even greater responsibility to continue her work by constantly showing up with love, compassion and relentless empathy and helping couples, families and individuals through their pain. I will forever be grateful to Sue for her incredible dedication, heart and wisdom, and allowing us all to benefit from it. Rest in peace Sue, a life so very well lived. -Leah

It is our privilege to learn 'the content'. It is where everything makes perfect sense and the incredible capacity of humans to adapt and survive can be celebrated rather than pathologised. Thank you to the brave people who allow us to see all of them.
