Show me your Shammy. My favorite way to clean my stamps is with the Simply Shammy. Just get it wet and wring it out really well.

YES - these are clean!

Once it's full of ink and not cleaning my stamps well, I clean it by running water over it and squeezing it out multiple times until the water runs clear.

At that point - it is clean - but it doesn't look like it! The ink stains it, but as long as water runs clean, it's clean and ready to clean stamps again.

Happy Monday ….

New stamps are so exciting… until the ink beads up and your first impression looks blotchy. 😅 If you’ve ever been there, you’re not alone! Here are some simple tips to condition your new stamps so they stamp beautifully from the start.

✨ How to Condition New Stamps ✨
• Clean them first with your Stampin’ Scrub to remove any residue
• Stamp a few times on scrap paper to “break them in”
• If the ink is beading up, use embossing ink, it’s sticky and will give the surface a little tooth
• Repeat until you get a great impression.

Using a Stampin’ Pierce mat adds a little cushion to aid in getting a great impression, too!

These quick steps make SUCH a difference—no more splotchy images or missing ink spots!

From Artisan Design Team member Andrea Sargent (): “I adore working with vellum and was so excited when it was re-introduced recently to our product line. There are many ways to use vellum—including stamping on vellum with Classic inks. I am sharing this technique with two-step stamping using the gorgeous Petals of Beauty Stamp Set. A couple of general tips for stamping on vellum: a) it is better to not use a juicy ink pad as the stamped image will take much longer to dry, and b) to stamp randomly, rotate the image so it is angled in different directions.”

Do your Mini Glue Dots sometimes unwind and get all messy? I’ve got an easy fix for you!

Just take a piece of ribbon (any kind works) and wrap it around your glue dot roll, then tie it in a knot. Leave about an inch of the glue dot strip pulled out in front of the ribbon to start.

Now, you can gently pull out just the amount you need and tear it off, while keeping the rest of the roll neat and tidy!

Say goodbye to glue dot chaos!

Hellooooooo Saturday!!!

Just this week, Stampin' Up! CEO Sara Douglass made this (well a bunch of) cute Thanks card with the Product of the Month Papers called True Blue Florals.
How gorgeous are they?
Super simple and you dont need a tonne of supplies, but a full pack of dsp will make a tonne of cards.
