School holidays at the farm look a little different here 🌿

At Little Farm Plays, children learn through calm, sensory-rich experiences — meeting animals gently, exploring at their own pace, and building confidence through connection rather than instruction.

These moments support:

🌙🐾 Rescue update from Little Farm Plays
We welcomed a mumma cat and her two tiny 10-day-old kittens into our care. Mum is safe, warm and settling in with lots of love and round-the-clock care here at the farm. 🩷🩵

The rescue team have named the kittens already — the tabby girl is Noodle and the ginger boy is Nugget. Both are healthy, cosy and growing every day. They’ll stay with us until they’re fully weaned, then will be ready for adoption. 🌱

We’re asking our lovely followers for help: Mumma needs a name! Drop your name ideas in the comments — we’ll pick our favourite and announce it soon. 💬✨

When the heat turns up, the treats get cooler 😌❄️🐴
Our horses enjoyed their favourite summer refreshers — frozen blocks packed with carrots, apples, and a little molasses to help them stay cool and comfortable during the heatwave.

Watching them crunch, lick, and enjoy every second is honestly one of our favourite parts of farm life 💛
Happy horses, relaxed vibes, and lots of summer smiles all around.

We’re always thinking about ways to keep our animals comfortable while giving visitors a little glimpse into real, thoughtful farm care 🌿

✨ Something new is coming to Little Farm Plays… Pony Plays! 🐴💛

We’re excited to introduce Pony Plays — a private, one-on-one pony experience designed especially for little horse lovers.

This is not part of our nature playgroups.
Pony Plays are booked separately as private sessions, giving children the time, space, and calm environment to truly connect with our gentle ponies.

During a Pony Plays session, children can:
🐴 Brush and care for the pony
🎀 Decorate their mane with pretty accessories
💛 Enjoy a gentle, led pony ride (with full supervision)

It’s all about confidence-building, connection, and slow, meaningful moments — led at your child’s pace.
