Suffering from Headaches or Migraines?

The first thing I ask someone to do who is struggling with headaches, is to keep a headache journal.

Write a few key things down such as location and intensity of the headache, what happen in the 24-48hr leading up to it, how much sleep, caffeine, alcohol and water have you had recently, how much and what type of exercise have you been doing, what foods have you consumed today/yesterday, what is your life/work stress like compared to usual, and what stage of the menstrual cycle you are in.

Each of these things can have an impact on or contribute to headaches and migraines. The journal will allow you to identify any patterns that my be present and thus any changes you can make to reduce the frequency and intensity of your headaches.

Osteopaths can also address many components of your headache to help you feel better sooner.
