🚨 NOW RECRUITING: Participants for the Spinal Cord Injury Nerve Bridge Transplantation Trial.

This is huge news for the SCI community.

Expressions of interest are now open for the world-first clinical trial led by Griffith University, in collaboration with the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation.

The trial will test a groundbreaking nerve bridge transplantation technique, aiming to restore function in people with spinal cord injury.

It’s a milestone moment - years of research, advocacy, and hope brought to life. And now, those eligible have the opportunity to be part of it.

Harrison's journey is nothing short of inspiring. From representing Australia in rugby to completing a 60km charity run for men's mental health, his dedication extends beyond the field.

As a disability support worker with us, he's been making a real difference in the lives of those he supports, including elite wheelchair rugby athlete Lilliana Prucha.

From supporting intellectual to complex physical needs, AJ has given his all to every client - and learned a tonne along the way. He’s led from the front, backed his team, and made sure every outcome was the best it could be.

Over the weekend, Vitori Buatava and his wife Natasha Buatava had the pleasure of joining Perry Cross and the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation at the RACV Royal Pines Resort in Benowa for the Gold Coast Fundraising Ball.

Now in its 24th year, the ball brought together an incredible group of people - all united in their mission to raise funds for six amazing charities, including PCSRF and their world-leading work to cure paralysis.

Yesterday, Nathan shared his story at the International Mental Health Conference on the Gold Coast, and we couldn’t be prouder.
