⚡️Yang energy has been a theme of the last couple of years. We’ve been subjected to so many challenges and after sustained pressure on our nervous systems, many are left feeling depleted and burnt out 😴. It can be difficult to remember to give ourselves the space to just be, to allow for Yin energy to balance us out ⚖️
I love Yin Yoga because it gives an opportunity to surrender to how we are feeling and over time, the practice allows us to bring awareness to our thoughts and to learn to be okay with what comes up in these moments of stillness 🙌
Sitting with our own thoughts can be challenging. The idea alone of sitting still in a pose for a few minutes can be challenging, but challenge is a path to growth, and growth is a path to self-awareness, to spiritual FREEDOM 💥
