As this year comes to an end, I want to pause and say a very sincere thank you to every client and family who has supported our horse and disability support business.
Five years ago, after moving to the Bega Valley with my three autistic children, I found myself struggling to access the supports my own family needed. What started as a deeply personal challenge became the seed for something much bigger. I made the decision to turn our home into a place where people could feel genuinely safe, supported, and understood. A place where connection could be built through animals, horses, and the natural environment.
Phase One of this journey was the construction of our horse and pony facilities. Over three years, we built our round yard, arena, and the beautiful trail system that so many of you now enjoy. Every fence post, every path, and every space was created with intention. The goal has always been to support confidence, regulation, trust, and meaningful connection.
Today, because of you, this space is alive with stories, progress, laughter, quiet moments, and powerful bonds between humans and animals. Your trust in us, your patience, and your belief in what we are building has meant more than I can ever properly express.
As we move forward, I am excited to step into Phase Two with the completion of our animal sanctuary. This will be a place that continues to grow alongside our vision of inclusion, safety, and connection for people of all abilities.
To our clients, families, and supporters, thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for allowing us to walk alongside you. Thank you for believing in what this space stands for.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with peace, connection, and hope. I look forward to continuing this journey together in the year ahead.
A special thank you to local artist Hayley Holt for such an amazing portrait of Lexus
