For DECADES (probably since school) I’ve been telling myself a story that I couldn’t paint. That I’m not artistic enough.
But the truth is, I never tried.
I’ve had plenty of other creative outlets over the years, especially in my previous career as an interior designer, but painting has always been too scary to try, as silly as I realise that sounds.
So I’ve listened to the little fire in my belly that’s curious about art, got some basic supplies and I’m teaching myself how to paint watercolour (with the help of YouTube!).
I’m 2 days in and loving the exploration and mindfulness of giving something totally new a go, with zero expectations or goal.
Doing it just for fun, just for myself 🌻
