👦 Supporting a young participant with complex support needs

CISP Care is currently seeking energetic, compassionate, and committed Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

We are looking for support workers who are passionate about making a genuine difference in the life of a young participant requiring structured, trauma-informed, and highly engaging support.

🌟 About the Role

You will be supporting a young participant within the community and home environment through:

Community access and social engagement
Structured play and physical activities
Emotional regulation support
Implementing behaviour support strategies
Building routine, trust, and positive relationships
Supporting communication and engagement

✅ Essential Criteria
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children or disability support
Experience supporting participants with Autism and behaviours of concern preferred
Active, energetic, and engaging personality
Strong English communication skills
Calm, resilient, and emotionally regulated approach
Trauma-informed practice understanding
Confident swimmer (essential requirement)
Ability to commit long-term for consistency of care
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working With Children Check
First Aid & CPR
Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle

🕒 Current Shift Availability
Monday: 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Wednesday: 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Friday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Instead of respecting Lee’s wishes, his support worker loudly interrupts the conversation, telling him what to do in front of everyone.
