At Cycling Without Age Gold Coast, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁—powered entirely by volunteers who believe in connection, freedom, and the simple joy of feeling the wind on your face.

We know we’re deeply valued by the aged care and disability organisations we support, and remain committed to ensuring no one misses out.
Every day, our volunteers work quietly and tirelessly to raise funds for insurance, maintenance, and operating costs—essential to keeping us rolling, though not often supported by the organisations who rely upon our volunteer-led initiative.
It’s not always easy, but maintaining trishaws, training volunteers, and reaching more people takes real resources.

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗼 Community Bank Gold Coast North for funding every ride over the past three months-and 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲.
Their generous support gave us the breathing space to focus fully on our mission: More Rides for More People More Often, and that's exactly what we did!
Since our chapter started in 2020, the Community Bank Gold Coast North has stood beside us every step of the way helping us create a more vibrant community.

It's magical having the wind in your hair and enjoying this treat as you sit back and let the riders do all the work. My daughter loves the freedom feeling and the bumps of the broadwalk. This is a highlight of her week. The team members are friendly. The views are spectacular at both Paradise Point and The Spit. I would definitely recommend Cycling Without Age to the Elderly and the Disabled.

🌟 Gratitude in Motion 🌟
We extend its deepest thanks to the City of Gold Coast for generously providing our Community Use Vehicle, which enabled us to transport two trishaws all the way to the Outback Festival, Winton Queensland Australia.
This marked a first for the small outback town of just 800 residents, which came alive with over 20,000 visitors during the iconic biennial celebration.
Among the many joyful moments, Winton Mayor Cathy White was especially moved to see many aged care residents—including 100-year-old Eileen—experiencing the simple delight of a trishaw ride and reconnecting with friends and familiar faces.
Mayor White shared her hope that trishaws will soon become a cherished part of the Winton community, recognising their potential to bring joy and connection to many.
None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support from the City of Gold Coast.
We proudly shared that the heart of this journey was our Community Use Vehicle—which is a cherished member of our team and a gift that keeps on giving.
