OPG scans are the most common dental scans conducted at Parkes Medical Imaging. OPG stands for orthopantomogram, a type of dental X-ray that provides a panoramic view of the entire mouth and surrounding structures 🦷👨🏽‍⚕️

Dental X-rays are great for identifying any problems that can't be seen during a physical exam, including cavities, gum disease, and bone loss, as well as evaluating tooth positioning.
