5 minutes just won't cut it in our opinion.

If you are just starting with Chiro care you will probably require several visits (4-8 sessions) over a few weeks, but we don't expect you to pay for those visits in advance.

One of our chiros Greg Lees is off until Feb healing his shoulder after rotator cuff surgery. The price paid for playing AFL in your 50's.

One week post surgery and all is going well. Considered one of the most painful surgeries it still responds well to ice packs, ibuprofen and paracetamol. No different to acute back and neck pain. Long term recovery involves regular mobility, good food and fluids, rest periods and most importantly time.

Bravery Award to Elle MacPherson

Elle MacPherson has become the latest person to feel the backlash of not following standard medical care, in her case for post surgery for breast cancer.

Does this bother anyone else?

Where is the my "body my choice movement" to support her now? Is it ok to eliminate a foetus, but not to choose your own cancer care options?

The mainstream media rhetoric has been to focus on the how dangerous her admission is because it will encourage others to take unnecessary risks. There is a process of character assassination, guilt by association (Andrew Wakefield - a whole misinformation story in itself), and criticism of lifestyle healthcare in general.

Playbook - find a health issue that scares people, find a scapegoat who defies the status quo, destroy their reputation in public then ask if anyone else has an opinion they'd like to share publicly.

She lucidly looked at the potential of dying from breast cancer, did surgery and followed a recommended protocol, from people she knew and trusted, and by all accounts has had a good outcome all things considered.

How brave must she have been to even try?

If you don't like her decision make a different one yourself, or mind your own business.

We have agency over our own bodies....don't we? Unfortunately since Covid it like there has become increasingly sinister mood that unless you run with the mob you are going to be dealt with.

Raise the lady up you pack of mongrels!

Interesting insight into a career and difficult life choices people have to make. This chap has moved away from his surgical career.

What resonates with Scott Street Chiro is that at around 20 minutes he talks about what he found helped his patients more than good surgical techniques. What is surprising is that it was a surprise.
