To Wake Up
With delight
Seizing,
Sensing,
Sight

The ordinary
The extraordinary
Creating,
Noticing,
Mindfully

Stillness Speaks
Audibly

For Choosing,
Soulfully
The things that touch your heart
And blow your mind

For Healing Grace

No Words
Just Silence
And Reflection
In Genuflection

For the holiness
Taking place
In the aftermath
For Healing Grace

A lovely suggested daily dedication, used by many traditions, leading up to a peaceful Christmas.

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men
Let Light descend on Earth

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men
May Christ return to Earth

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men -
The purpose which the Masters know and serve

From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells

Let Love and Light and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

It is a beautiful, prayerful, meditation that is adapted by many goodwill traditions, using terms relevant to them, and in their own language, as it pertains to all humanity.

Words Worth Wednesday.

I have been contemplating the merging of Science and Spirit, as I do. The Logical and the Soulful. The complementary and evidentiary experience. And that is when I like to revisit Jill Bolte Taylor's marvellous and moving stroke of brain genius.

I hope that you will glean what you need from this fabulous link, as I have in revisiting it. About the independent and mutual benefits of each of our beautiful brain hemispheres. As Jill Bolte Taylor communicates it so wonderfully. A topic of a Loving Psyche blogpost 'Spirit Matters' posted in June this year.

I love where she points to her heart when she talks of our inner intelligence peace circuitry at the end. It's a marvellous, and reinforcement, validation. Especially as we balance needs in the lead up to a sacred heart Christmas.

Jill Bolte Taylor got a research opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: She had a massive stroke, and watched as her brain functions -- motion, speech, self-awareness -- shut down one by one. An astonishing story.
