Wanted to share this as it might be helpful - my colleague Katrina (psychologist/ teacher, runs a learning clinic in Lane Cove) has opened her free parent Zoom webinar series to Speechify families this week.

It’s a practical “back to school” series, covering things like:
- learning support and confidence
- talking with teachers and asking for help
- school anxiety and reluctance
- homework and organisation
- assessments and exam provisions

Each session is 30 minutes with live Q&A, and you’ll get the recordings when you register.

Hello, my name is Anthony and I will be helping around speechify on tuesdays. I just graduated from high school and am looking for something to pause time while planning to enrol into tafe. I have been attending Speechify since I was 4 years old. My hobbies are photography, gaming and modelling airplanes. I try to communicate with everyone that I meet so I can boost my social skills so I can try not to be nervous every time I talk to someone. I look forward to helping more people in the future at Speechify.

What a week! Just completed the 5-day PART™ (Predict, Assess, and Respond to Threats) Train-the-Trainer workshop. Looking forward to equipping staff with the skills to confidently and safely manage aggressive and challenging behaviours.

Our team did the PART (Predict, Assess & Respond To Challenging/Aggressive Behaviour) training today! It’s such a practical course, giving us tools to handle challenging behaviors with confidence while keeping everyone safe and supported.
