Meet our social work Nour, we are very proud and excited about her appertaining on Career Panel Discussion & Q&A.

Meet one of our 'Social Work Pathways: Career Panel Discussion & Q&A' panelists, Nour Abdo.

Nour Abdo is a Senior Social Worker and CPD Supervisor whose goal it is to educate and eliminate the stigma around mental health and disability. Nour has completed post-graduate studies in Social Work Field Education and Case Management and is currently an executive committee member of professional registered network, The Muslim Social Workers Network.
She currently works for an NDIS provider, primarily with refugees and newly arrived migrants, who have children and family members with disabilities and complex mental health issues. Nour has significant experience in working in specialised teams in government agencies and non-government organisations as well as an Australian university.

Nour’s hope is that one day soon, the social work values of equality and equity become a natural part of Australian law, policy and practice and that as individuals and as a collective, we can access the services that we need to enhance and maintain a positive quality of life for ourselves and for others.
