While calf stretches might give us a momentary sigh of relief, they're not the long-term solution we're hoping for to treat plantar fasciitis. πŸš«πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ

Why not, you ask? Well, though they can feel good temporarily, they don't address the root of the problem and could potentially affect our spring and performance negatively. It's time to shift our focus toward building a stronger and more flexible plantar fascia. πŸ’ͺπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

So, what should we be doing instead? Let's embrace resistance training, welcome calf raises into our routine, consider strapping, and find the perfect pair of running shoes or orthotics. And let's not forget about exploring treatments like shockwave therapy. πŸ‹οΈβ€β™‚οΈπŸ‘Ÿ
