There is immediate, safe, and free support when you’re experiencing mental health distress or crisis.

The Urgent Mental Health Care Centre (UMHCC) is open 24 hours a day every day of the year, with no referral needed.

From the moment you arrive, you'll be supported by an understanding, accepting team of lived experience workers, who will walk alongside you at your time of need.

You can walk in or call on 8448 9100 to let them know you are on your way.

In a mental health emergency, you can also call the Mental Health Triage Service on 13 14 65.

This includes clients visiting Jill Scott’s office from 29 June. Let us know if you’d prefer a Telehealth session instead.

😷 From 29 June, masks will be mandatory for all people in health care settings.

Masks are also mandatory for people providing personal care services including hairdressers, nail salons, tattoo parlours, day spas and similar businesses (it is not mandatory for clients to wear a mask).

Masks are highly recommended on public transport, taxis and rideshare.

There are exceptions to these mandatory requirements, including:
â–ª people with relevant medical conditions.
â–ª people under the age of 12.
â–ª cases where a mask would create communications difficulties in situations where a mask will impact the provision of care.

Find out more about the requirements for mandatory face masks, including FAQs, at www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDmasks
