Located in the beautiful Community hall of Pearl Beach just 1.5 hours Nrth of Sydney All classes at Pearl Beach Yoga are mixed level, all welcome for drop in classes or pre book. Located in the beautiful national park of Pearl Beach on the Central Coast, just 1.5 hour North of Sydney. Our community style hall is vintage and unique. Offering a spaciouse open practice with fresh air, wooden flooring and high ceilings. Teacher and owner Hayley Saunders is a local of Pearl beach for over 30 years, who has a passion for all things health, practicing yoga for 15 years and teaching for 12. Hayley's style is a versitile, functional and well rounded, taking all the valuable pieces over the years of her experience, blending them together to create a holistic, mindful and practical practice for everyone. She modifies asanas (postures) to suit different body types as she is highly trained in the Anatomy and physiology with her background extending out as an exerscise specialist, including personal training, working with disabilities, natural body sculpting and nutrition at a diploma level. Classes are: $25 casual with discounts available for 'frequent yogi's for a 10 class pass

I’ll also be teaching at Umina Surf Club every Tuesday at 9:30am, running through until the end of February.

As we move toward the close of summer in Vedic astrology, this season marks a natural integration phase — a time to soften, digest what has unfolded, and gently prepare for the shift ahead. It’s an ideal period for grounding practices, heart-led movement, and reconnecting to rhythm rather than rushing forward.

Hi Yogis,

This time of year is all about shaking off the old, especially this final super Full moon of 2025 clearing karmic cycles and closing chapters, welcoming light, new direction and flowing into renewed energy — on and off the mat.

Just sending this out as a last min, if you'd like to come tomorrow to our HOLY CA-COW YOGA CLAY RETREAT as we have a couple tickets left for our day, at Palmdale near Ourimbah here on the coast.

You get to immerse into the sanctuary by opening with a gentle yoga flow, breath work, drink Cacao - then get to meet rescue animals and hug/pat cows. We then nourish you with a huge plant based feast while you get to learn and create your own clay vessel as I take you through the steps.

G’day Yogis,

Just popping in with our yoga schedule for spring, plus our summer holiday timetable leading into Christmas and the New Year. This time of year is all about shaking off the old (especially coming out of that eclipse portal), welcoming light, new direction and flowing into renewed energy — on and off the mat.


Spring in Chinese Medicine, is the season of wood, growth, and renewal. It’s linked with the liver and gallbladder meridians, which help us with clarity, vision, and moving forward. Just like new buds bursting on trees, we’re invited to stretch, open, and expand. In yoga, this translates to twists, side-body stretches, and heart-openers that clear out stagnation, detoxify, and create space for fresh energy to flow.

What we resist… persists. In yoga, we don’t just observe our habits—we take responsibility for them 🙏🏼

Yoga teaches us svādhyāya—self-study—not just to gain insight, but to create transformation.

If we find ourselves stuck in patterns, cycles, or situations that drain us…

We must ask: Am I choosing this—by not choosing differently?

Every breath on the mat (or off) is a choice.

To stay or to shift.

To react or to respond.

To numb or to feel.

When we don’t change what’s not working, we’re silently agreeing to it.

But yoga also reminds us that change doesn’t come from force—it comes from softening 💫
It’s not about fighting resistance, but about noticing it, breathing with it, and meeting ourselves with compassion.

When we soften inwardly, our outer world softens too. The grip of tension, judgment, and expectation eases. What once felt immovable begins to shift, simply because we’ve allowed it space.

Yoga doesn’t force us to leap—
It simply holds up the mirror until the reflection is either no longer there, or we have made peace with it through acceptance and a gentle course of action toward what will serve us.

We’re not meant to live on autopilot.
We’re meant to awaken, to choose again, into awareness, and to move forward with compassion - for ourselves and for others🤍

Dear fellow yogis,

As winter draws to a close, we begin to feel the subtle stirrings of spring. In yoga, this is a time of renewal — shaking off the heaviness of the colder months and inviting in fresh prana (life force) to awaken our bodies and minds. The hall remains a warm, welcoming retreat from the lingering cool and wet weather, a space to nourish your body, keep your joints supple, and stay full of energy as we transition seasons.

Class Times:
THURSDAY'S at 10am — every week as usual
SUNDAY Dates at 10am:
17 & 31 August, 7 & 14 September, 12 October & (26 TBC)
