🔔It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 🔔
Long before the bustle of shopping centres and carols in the air, the bush quietly announces Christmas in its own way.
The Christmas Bells bloom.
Bright red and gold lanterns rising from the heath, ringing in the season without making a sound.
For thousands of years, flowers like these have been a seasonal calendar — signalling change, marking time, and reminding us to pay attention to the subtle shifts in Country.
Their arrival means the warm weeks of summer are here, the festive season is unfolding, and nature is celebrating in colour.
When I see the first Christmas Bell, I feel that familiar spark of awe and wonder — a gentle invitation to slow down, look closely, and let the landscape tell its stories.
As the world speeds up, these little bells remind us that Christmas has already begun…
