On the day appointments are available if you are unwell. You maybe asked to give further details to our Reception staff who will triage your symptoms if they are unsure they will consult with Dr Gaggin to ensure the appropriate appointment is given. Regular Appointments:
Regular appointments may not be available on the day (unless it is an emergency) as Dr Gaggin is booked up to 4 weeks in advance, if an appointment does become available patients on our waitlist will be contacted. We run on 10 minute appointment times so if you have complex needs you may need to book a double appointment. If your appointment does go over time it may incur an increased fee at billing, the Medicare rebate will also increase. Non Attendance Fee:
Please contact the practice as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment, we require at least 12 hours notice. A $40.00 non- attendance fee may be charged and it not relatable from Medicare. Prescriptions and referrals require an appointment, it is advised that patients rebook for repeat prescriptions before leaving the practice or when picking their last repeat up from the pharmacy. It is not always possible to fit patients in on the day for last minute prescriptions.
