It was a great day filled with fun, social connection, learning new things, and spending time together in the community.

💜 May is Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month 💜

This month, we recognise and support individuals and families living with Cystic Fibrosis.
A complex, lifelong genetic condition that affects the lungs and digestive system.

Behind every diagnosis is a person navigating daily treatments, hospital visits, challenges, resilience, and strength. Awareness helps build understanding, inclusion, and support for the CF community.

At Alleviate Support, we believe in creating a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.

✨ How you can show support this month:
• Learn more about Cystic Fibrosis
• Share awareness posts and stories
• Support CF organisations and research initiatives
• Promote inclusion and understanding

Together, we can help raise awareness and advocate for better outcomes for people living with CF.

Our Women’s Wednesday Group is all about building connections, maintaining positive and healthy friendships, and being active in the community 💜

This week the ladies enjoyed a wonderful day out together with coffee, shopping, book browsing, and lots of laughs along the way. Activities like these help support social connection, confidence, independence, and community participation in a fun and supportive environment.

A wholesome little painting session today 🎨💖

Chloe painted Trinity, and Trinity painted Chloe — safe to say they both did an amazing job 😍👏
There were lots of laughs, paint everywhere, and so much pride showing off the finished masterpieces.

We love seeing friendships and confidence grow through fun activities like this 🌿✨

The NDIS journey goes beyond just the social aspect; it’s about empowering individuals to secure meaningful employment, just like anyone else. It’s about the journey of finding, keeping, and thriving in a job, while contributing to the community.

Just look at our participant, Lachlan! After finishing school, he was determined to find a job, and guess what? He’s absolutely smashing it! We couldn’t be prouder of his achievements. Way to go, Lachlan! 💪👏
