This week, Shane from our Claremont Meadows SIL spent the afternoon out on a special date with his partner ❤️.
We love moments like this because they show what SIL is really about. It’s not “group homes” or isolation — it’s independence, choice, and connection.
At Advance Disability Services & Respite, we encourage family time, friendships, and being part of the community. Just like anyone else, our participants enjoy:

What was meant to be our daily debrief turned into a full-blown Backstreet Boys sing along 🤩👏 Our team and participants at CONNECT Kingswood showed off their moves and their voices.

Moments like this are what our Day Programs are all about, building friendships, having fun, while smashing NDIS goals around confidence, social connection, and independence.

Cody debuted his brand new Tiger inspired wheelchair at the Wests Tigers match, and what a debut! 🔥 Yesterday’s clash saw the Cowboys take the win 34–28, but nothing could wipe the smile off Cody’s face. Meanwhile, Pablo was at CommBank Stadium, proudly cheering on his beloved Eels 💙💛 showing what true fandom looks like!

This season through our Beyond the Tryline program, we’ve had an incredible run:

✅ Staying connected in the community, doing what we love
✅ Building confidence navigating big stadiums
✅ Creating real mateships along the way
✅ Taking big steps toward individual NDIS goals around independence, social connection, and inclusion

In his Supported Independent Living home, Cooper has been learning and growing every day. With support, he’s building independence by doing the shopping and unpacking groceries, helping prepare meals, and managing his laundry.
These aren’t just chores, they are life skills that give Cooper confidence and allow him to contribute to his own home in meaningful ways.

Weekdays are busy with day programs and family time; evenings and weekends often include walks, sports, movies, singing & dancing, shopping — one of the ladies is an avid baker. We’ll work with you on a transition plan to ensure the right match.
