Nervous system dysregulation isn’t just anxiety and panic attacks, sometimes it can look like:

• procrastinating on things you actually want to do
• getting sick every time you finally slow down
• feeling irritated for no reason
• craving sugar, salt or stimulants
• brain fog and decision fatigue
• feeling detached from people you love
• needing to be busy to feel okay
• laughing things off instead of feeling them

Controversial? Maybe. But hear me out.

To get the kind of sleep where you wake up feeling renewed, your nervous system needs to fully downshift. It needs to truly believe that the threat has passed - subconsciously.

That’s why no amount of lavender pillow spray will fix chronic sleep issues (though it will help and we love a good nighttime routine).

The real, lasting work is in helping your nervous system to feel safe enough to rest.
