A special moment out in nature 🌿

During his respite stay with Outwest Care, Deagan enjoyed a relaxing trip to Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby — soaking up the fresh air, beautiful greenery, and a well-earned lunch break.

The highlight? A curious magpie decided to join him at the table, making for a truly memorable and uniquely Australian experience 🐦

At Outwest Care, we love creating opportunities for meaningful outings, connection with nature, and moments that bring a smile. It’s the little things — like sharing lunch with an unexpected feathered friend — that can make a day extra special.

What a day at the Sydney TruckFest at the Hawkesbury Showground! 🚛💨

Mac, who many of you know for his absolute love of truck horns, had the best time soaking it all in. The smiles, the sounds, and the excitement were unforgettable — this is what it’s all about 💙

A very special shoutout to the incredible truck driver in this video. He came prepared with rope, hoping he’d get the chance to meet Mac — and made sure Mac got to blast the horn on his truck.

Thanks so much to Peter from Thomson haulage your kindness and thoughtfulness meant the world. You truly made Mac’s day (and his parents’ too). Moments like this remind us how amazing the trucking community is 🙌

Thank you for making such a difference 💙

🚛 Outwest Care Adventures: Sydney Truckfest! 🚛

What an awesome day out at the Sydney Truckfest at Hawkesbury Showground! 🙌

Alex had an absolute blast checking out some incredible trucks — from classic rigs to seriously impressive modern builds. There was no shortage of horsepower and chrome! 🔥

Of course, no show day is complete without a showbag, and Alex scored some great goodies… including a brand new Kenworth cap 😎🧢

With the heat turned up, we cooled down with some refreshing slushies 🥤 — definitely a highlight of the day!

Alex even gave the excavation simulator a go… safe to say it wasn’t quite his thing 😂 but we love giving everything a try!

Days like this are what it’s all about — getting out in the community, trying new experiences, and having a great time along the way 💙

🌈 Celebrating Neurodiversity Celebration Week 🧠✨

At Outwest Care, we are proud to celebrate Neurodiversity Celebration Week — a time dedicated to recognising and valuing the many different ways people think, learn, and experience the world.

Neurodiversity reminds us that neurological differences are not deficits, but natural variations of the human brain. Every individual brings unique strengths, perspectives, and talents that enrich our communities.

This week we acknowledge and celebrate people living with neurological differences such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Tourette Syndrome, and other cognitive and learning differences. These individuals contribute incredible creativity, innovation, empathy, and problem-solving skills to society every day.

At Outwest Care, we are committed to creating supportive, inclusive environments where neurodivergent individuals feel understood, respected, and empowered to thrive.

💡 By increasing awareness and understanding, we can break down stigma, build stronger communities, and ensure everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Let’s continue to celebrate differences, champion inclusion, and recognise the strengths that neurodiversity brings to our world.
