This week we are celebrating something very special! Chloe has been part of Playful Stages for 10 years.

For a decade, Chloe has brought deep commitment to connection-led, developmentally informed practice. Her love of DIR/Floortime isn’t just a framework she uses, it’s the lens through which she understands children. She sees behaviour through neurobiology. She prioritises safety. She values relationship above all else.

Chloe is thoughtful, reflective and constantly learning. She invests in her professional growth continuously.

Over the past 10 years, she has supported so many children to build capacity through safe, attuned relationships.

Chloe, your dedication to connection-first practice, your depth of care, and your commitment to doing this work well have made a lasting impact on our clinic and community.

Ten years is an incredible milestone and we are so grateful you have grown alongside Playful Stages.

I want to share something really special with our Playful Stages families!!

Many of you know I have a musical theatre loving child – her name is Jorja and she is almost 16. She has been working with Wild Heart Creatives for the past few years. The Wild Heart team now have CTS — Creative Therapy Sydney, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this with you.

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of watching Jorja grow — not only in her skills, but in her confidence, her sense of belonging and her love for performing. I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of what I’ve seen — particularly the way this team interacts with children and young people across such a wide range of ages and abilities.

What always stands out to me is the safe, nurturing, warm and genuinely encouraging environment they create. Children feel seen. They feel supported. They feel capable. And as parents, that’s what matters most.

So when they shared that they were opening a music therapy branch at Creative Therapy Sydney, I didn’t hesitate in wanting to offer them space here at Playful Stages. That decision came from trust — from seeing firsthand how they work with children, how they support them, and how naturally inclusive their approach already is.

Music is such a powerful tool for connection, regulation, confidence and expression — and I am so excited for our families to have access to this beautiful service within our community.

I’ll share a photo of Jorja with her wonderful mentors, because families connect with real relationships and real stories — and this one is very special to us 🤍

🌟 Meet Tracey 🌟
🌟Our New Occupational Therapist! 🌟

We are so excited to officially welcome Tracey to the Playful Stages OT team!

Tracey graduated from Western Sydney University and brings with her a genuine passion for supporting children and their families. Her love for working with children began in her teenage years as a learn-to-swim instructor, where she discovered the joy of watching children grow in confidence through connection, play and new skills.

During her studies, Tracey completed one of her final placements here at Playful Stages — and we absolutely loved having her. She quickly became a valued member of our space, supporting children in strengthening fine and gross motor skills, emotional regulation and sensory processing through play based therapy.

Tracey is deeply committed to helping children build confidence, independence and a sense of “I can do it!” through meaningful, sensory-rich experiences. We are thrilled that she is returning to us now as a fully qualified Occupational Therapist.
