Research suggests that communication difficulties in ADHD are partly driven by impulsivity and deficits in executive functioning, which can reduce a person’s ability to filter information before speaking.

ADHD is characterized by problems with inhibitory control and self-regulation, meaning individuals may speak quickly or disclose personal information without pausing to evaluate the social context.

Studies on social functioning in ADHD show that symptoms such as hyperactivity and impulsivity are associated with difficulties in interpersonal interactions and reduced self-control in communication.

For example, research published in the journal Journal of Clinical Psychology found that individuals with ADHD often show significant deficits in social communication and awareness compared to peers, which can contribute to inappropriate conversational behaviors.

In addition to impulsivity, studies indicate that ADHD is associated with broader social-functioning and relationship difficulties, which may also contribute to oversharing behaviors.

Today I sat and done puzzles and chilled with this little guy not feeling motivated to do much else but chill.
Later on the way home we stopped off to feed the ducks and apparently race. I could of said no, usually I would just walk, though something said just get that butt, legs moving so I did, it was fun 🤩 even though apparently Nanny is very slow 😂 to get motivated you need action.
