Part time receptionist and surfer extraordinaire, Gisele Sinclair, recently competed in the Queensland State Titles on the agile Coast finishing 4th. She then travelled to Port Macquarie and competed in the Australian Open Shortboard Titles and finished 10th competing against some of the best women in the country.

Later in the year, Gisele will be competing at Phillip Island for the Australian Junior Titles.

We are so proud of her achievements.

Our hand therapist Rosie Gospel (far right) was invited as a guest speaker to the Annual Hand Therapy Conference held in Adelaide. 500 delegates from Australia and New Zealand attended the conference in person and online.

Rosie is an expert in her field of hand therapy and we are proud to have her work at the clinic.

Locum physio, Ben Ryder, is escaping the cold winter of Victoria to come and enjoy the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Graduating from La Trobe University in 2020 Ben has a keen interest in sporting injuries and osteoarthritis completing the GLA:D certification. A keen surfer and runner, Ben is dividing his time between work and play. In his words “ I love connecting with people of all ages and from all walks of life, making a difference and helping where I can”.

Ben will be available for appointments in May, July, and September this year. We welcome Ben to the team.

Gisele Sinclair is completing her Certificate 3 in Allied Health through her school. She has been in the clinic for the past 2 months learning and helping out with the running of the clinic. Gisele is a state and national level surfer and is competing this year to break into the top 20 surfers in the country. We wish Gisele all the best for her season and her studies to become a physiotherapist.
