The team to provide services of General health, eye, pharmacy and dental continued to the schools of Phangkar and Goshing Gewogs. To over come the never ending barriers at Lelangang, the team did not pause for its clearance. Instead, they walked 5 long hours from Changarzam through Shingtoe to Tashibi.

It was a real ‘’Kra thektey, tshathpa thektey'' (sweats from each hair) moment for the team.

The services of General health, Eye, Pharmacy and dental health has started their comprehensive tour to the schools of Panbang Dungkhag from 17th May 2022.

The services aims at
• The promotion of positive health.
• The prevention of diseases.
• Early diagnosis , treatment and follow-up of defects.
• Awakening health consciousness in children.
• The provision of healthful enviroment.
• Health awareness.

They overcome barriers such as transportation, inconvenient locations or appointment systems. They can act on multiple determinants of health, including public health interventions and environmental change strategies.

The team is also joined by new energetic Drungtsho with similar objectives to the populations to promote the health of a community. Golden needle therapy is most anticipated services from the people.

Barpong PS, Bjoka PS and Kaktong PS are covered untill today. The team will continue towards other schools.

Honourable Sowie Lynpo's visit to our hospital has come as further motivation and stimulation to work conscientiously and harder to be successful in phase two of the virus. We are highly honored to have received kind wisdoms to be admired whole our life.

Lynpo praised our successful story in phase I of the virus. ‘’All other sectors were equally important and were equally responsible for creating a successful story’’. Now, the phase II being a clinically managing phase, Lynpo said, ‘’health professionals are the drivers as 90% responsibilities are on the shoulders of health professionals’’.

Lynpo also reminded that we hold a special place in his Majesty’s heart. That boosted our energy not to rest a single day and work further.

Lynpo further encouraged us as the phase II will only be two to three months from now. With two options in phase III, either WHO will declare the pandemic as endemic and treat as normal flu or the new variant will come.

As our publics continue to enjoy the benifits from health flagship programs, Lynpo reiterated that the different health flagships are on its way to our door steps.
