I have recently moved house and as I was going through a box, I came across this message typed on an A4 sheet of paper from Jackie & Jim Lindsay’s Class notes (Eden, Lesson 34/33).
I felt compelled to share it as this message has helped me accept my present circumstance better and I hope it can help you too.
"There is reason behind everything, no matter how it appears on the surface - there is method - accept. The more readily you accept, the easier it will become.
The ways of Spirit are not the ways of the human. We serve to bring out the Spiritual You, and in order for this to happen the human you must be cast aside. The human you worries, frets, demands, cajoles, needs to know all the answers. The Spiritual You needs none of this, is always in the state of acceptance and gratitude. This is the state you are working towards, and it will be achieved. To reason it in human terms makes no sense at all, that is why My Ways are contrary to your ways - but My Ways work!
You are being trained towards total acceptance, total trust. Each disappointment, each let down - when you have recovered - strengthens you further, if you don't give up and turn away. You become an observer of God's Works, not a participator of human work.
I do know your needs; your spiritual needs, My Hands are around you. The things I promise you will come to pass, but sometimes not in the way you imagine; the end result will far exceed your comprehension. TRUST is what I ask of you.
You feel sometimes as if you are fumbling in the dark, uncertain of your destination and your journey on the road that leads to it. Just put one foot before the other. Trust in me. All is well.
