Karen Finnegan of Karen Finnegan Art My name is Karen Finnegan. You might know me as an artist, but I am much more than that.

I am a mother of four, grandmother of eight, and great-grandmother of one. I was born with an existential awareness and have had spiritual experiences throughout my life. These experiences have led me to develop my own philosophy that "experiences are wisdom in the making, providing we learn from them." I'm a retired professional counsellor who specialized in co-occurring addiction and mental health conditions. I hold a Master's degree in Applied Social Science, a Graduate Diploma in Counselling Theories, and a Bachelor's degree in Counselling. I started my career working alongside a private practitioner with his actively using patients, then spent most of my career working in residential settings to assist residents. I rounded up my career by working with individuals in their home settings. I'm now retired, but I still pursue my interests in spiritual life coaching, hedgewitchery, herbal magic, dream analysis, and many more. I hold a Diploma in Spiritual Life Coaching, a Diploma in Hedgewitchery, a Diploma in Herbal Magic, and I'm currently completing a Diploma in Herbal Compendiums and Merlyn Magic.

A magical grimoire is a book that contains information, spells, and rituals related to a person's spiritual practice. It's like a magical journal where you can record your insights keep all your go to important information. A hand-bound and infused grimoire is one that has been created and personalized by the practitioner. It's infused with their energy and intentions, and is often considered more powerful and meaningful than a mass-produced grimoire for obvious reasons. Think of it like a homemade meal versus fast food – both can be satisfying, but the homemade one is made with love and care.
