Lombardi’s words suggest that while perfection may be an illusion, the pursuit of it sharpens our focus, elevates our standards, and pushes us beyond mediocrity. In aiming high—even impossibly high—we cultivate discipline, resilience, and a commitment to growth. The result? Happy 2025, the Jubilee Year. According to Chinese astrology the year of the Snake which is associated with transformation, renewal and spiritual growth. Snakes are known for shedding their skin which symbolises the process of letting go of the old and embracing the new. Hence if you haven’t reached out for support it’s not a weakness. Don’t struggle alone, talk to someone, professional help is out there!

What a great night we had at The Perth Crown Hotel. Thank you kindly to the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards Australia for this acknowledgement and recognition of my work. It feels great to be seen and recognised by your own people. Thank you so much, it’s not easy when it comes to community work however you have been all extremely helpful recognising all that we are working hard on, uplifting our Zimbabwean community and Australia as a whole. I greatly appreciate this huge recognition in this sensitive area of work:-Mental Health sector. I feel very encouraged by this recognition and am happy to hear that my skills and the work we are doing at Moonlight Health and Wellbeing Services is making a difference to many. I'm touched beyond words. Thank you! At Moonlight Health and Wellbeing Services we provide psychological counselling support. Counselling helps in better expression and management of emotions, including anger. relief from depression, anxiety or other mental health conditions. increased confidence and decision-making skills and ability to manage stress effectively. At moonlight health you will get all this in a safe environment and confidentiality is core to the work we do. Come and support the Launch of this book Uniting the World for the Rural School Library Development. One of my greatest heroes of all the time, Former President of South Africa Baba Nelson Mandela, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.'

And as highlighted by one of the authors professor Tinashe Magwisi.
“Libraries play an important role in society as custodians of
information. Information plays a very important role in just about
everything we do in modern society. Whereas traditionally libraries
have been known to house books, the proliferation of Information
and communication technologies (ICTs) has seen a multiplicity of
information available in many different formats. Not all communities have the privilege to have libraries and access to information in their lives and this situation becomes even more desperate for isolated and rural communities. Various organisations have come up with initiatives which seek to bridge this information gap, the divide between those who have and those who are poorly resourced. These organisations include institutions like UNESCO, and Book Aid International among others.
Celebrating ten (10) years since its inception, the Zimbabwe
Rural School Library Trust (ZRSLT) is one such organisation that
has been working tirelessly to provide books and other reading
materials to rural communities in Zimbabwe. It is an initiative by
Zimbabweans who felt obliged to give back to their disadvantaged
communities”.
