Do you know the 7 parts of the female genitalia?

Ignorance about the basic biology of v***as is still shockingly high – yet there are huge health benefits, physical and emotional, to be won with better understanding

What a fantastic article! It covers medical gender and race bias, history, the moral and physical contexts, linguistic developments and need for change, and also highlights examples of how the SHAME of being female has linked to TRAUMA through epigenetics and still is carried onwards today through names and language and inference... even if the origins is unknown or unconscious it all came from somewhere (eg the Sims Vaginal Speculum "was named for James Marion Sims, a Southern gynecologist (sic) and slaveholder who made his advancements by experimenting on enslaved women.")

Anatomists have bid farewell to “pudendum,” but other questionable terms remain.

Endometriosis can really wreak havoc on your life and 1 in 9 people born with a uterus suffer from this condition in Australia...

Fascinating fact for a Tuesday afternoon... because its usually the lining of the uterus growing outside the uterine cavity and attaching to other organs its always been thought of as a 'woman's problem'.... although it's been documented that others who weren't born with a uterus (male s*x at birth) can be affected by this condition too.

American actor and comedian Amy Schumer has shared an intimate glimpse of her painful medical condition with 10.9 million followers on Instagram.

Our bodies are amazing

We were lucky to be joined by a beautiful crew of dancers with Richelle Tribal-Teacher. Their blessing was beautiful and inclusive as they invited people watching to join in. Thanks to this dance tribe for offering your time and your support for VLF.

These guys are a community dance group that meet in Coogee, we will post details soon for anyone who wants to check them out or dance with them!
