If you’re time poor, daily routines such as changing or bathing your child serve as the perfect opportunities to help your child connect what you’re saying with what you’re doing. This is especially true if you are careful to say the words at the exact moment that you perform the action.
If you say “arm in” as you put your child’s arm through the sleeve of a top then they will start to understand that action. Repetition is extremely important in developing your child’s language and speech - routines are a golden opportunity!
