The word consistency is required.
Everyone uses meditation for different reasons however the studies prove over and over again that is supports life regardless of if you do it for 10 minutes or 40 minutes.

Obviously the longer you allow the greater the experience and connection.
Use what time you do have and give back to yourself 🙏🏻

A very simple and easy to use tool to sink into presence is your senses.

There are a tonne of creative ways you can explore your senses and the deeper/longer you explore them the greater your parasympathetic nervous system (the rest and recover state) can thrive!

It’s also an amazing tool to use in day to day life. Feeling stressed, anxious and in your head:
1. Try noticing three things you can see
2. Notice two sounds in your vicinity
3. Can you taste any lingering taste in your mouth and can you feel the texture of your teeth and gums
4. What does your skin and clothing feel like and is the air surrounding your body cool or warm
5. Are there any smells lingering around you and how does your sense of smell respond to that

I myself can totally own up to the thoughts of…
Not doing enough
Not being enough
Not growing enough
Not having enough…

But then I reflect on all I do have.
Right now, where I am and what I have is something I have always wanted and always dreamed of.

So I find toning down the ‘don’t haves’ as often as I can and find gratitude in all the blessings I do have puts me at ease and takes off that self destructive pressure that does more harm that good 🧘‍♀️

Something that has really been coming up the past few weeks/days is boundaries.

Have I set clear boundaries to support myself, in all parts of life?
Emotional boundaries.
Physical boundaries.
Spiritual boundaries.
Financial boundaries.

This came from a situation that brought up ALOT of triggers and past habits.

Rather than riding the same cycle I am choosing to be accountable for the part I play in changing this.

I am using tools:
✨ Journalling to write out my thoughts, my feelings and the situation that arose and now what I am going to do to switch it around
✨ Meditation to check in on my internal feelings, thoughts and rewiring the old beliefs with empowering ones I want to replace it with
✨ My relationships. Support from loved ones has been massive. If your relationships hold open and honest communication it can help you massively in picking up things you don’t see from a genuinely loving place.
Being ‘in it’ you see it differently however, having people on your sideline providing you with their perspective can show you where you may be in a cycle you didn’t know about.

This stuff doesn’t change over night, it will be a forever thing for me because I truely want to become the most authentic and magnetic version of myself as possible 🧘‍♂️✨🌎
Never settling, forever self reflecting
