I'm Jasmin Bristow, a certified mindfulness, somatic, mental health and emotional wellbeing coach. I partner with people to cultivate awareness, behaviours and beliefs that create peace and fulfilment - no matter what life brings forth. Since 2013 I have spent 2000+ hours coaching over 600 clients from across the globe. My coaching style is compassionate and gently challenging. I draw on evidence-based practices and individualise sessions for each client based on their goals and values.

**A Meditation for Getting Unstuck**
This meditation starts with a mindful grounding practice before moving into a guided visualisation.

The visualisation introduces a strategy to help you get unstuck from sticky, unhelpful thoughts or beliefs. The practice draws on techniques from traditional mindfulness and an aspect of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) called cognitive defusion.

To anyone dealing with chronic health or chronic pain issues, I see you. These invisible struggles can make it difficult to communicate the burden and feel understood.

Leaning on others for support can be so healing. And, most often, we just need to be heard, seen, understood. Meet-up or online support groups can be a great way to connect with others going through similar struggles. Also, sharing how you're feeling with a trusted friend can be comforting. You may want to start by asking this trusted friend if they would willing to listen without trying to fix or give advice.

Sometimes coping requires us to get creative and resourceful, which can be especially hard if you're in a low point. Use the times when you're feeling better to fortify, build your resources, and strengthen your structures of support so they're in place when you most need them.

Here is a fabulous emotions wheel created by . What I love about this is the way Lindsey has included sensations. When it’s hard to find the words to our feelings, we can start by naming sensations.

Using an emotions wheel is a fabulous way of learning to manage your emotions. When we can connect to, acknowledge, label, and validate what we’re feeling, it can change the experience. Difficult emotions can diminish, we’re better able to process what’s going on, and our relationships benefit from having more language to describe what’s going on inside us.
