Our friendly classes are open level and gently paced with an emphasis on breathing and awareness. We run in terms but you can join partway through if space permits. If you think you are too old, too stiff or out of shape to do yoga then you have come to the right place. This type of yoga class is fantastic for those that might suffer from old injuries, back or neck problems and have been unable to participate in more vigorous movement classes. Everyone who does yoga should strength train and everyone who strength trains should do yoga!

The dilemma: Yoga poses build strength but only to a point. Yoga is missing something called progressive overload and there are very few pulling actions (they are mostly pushing!). Also, we don't want to make your yoga classes a work out, they are so much more than that. A "work in" is a much better description and yoga is 💣🔥 for building nervous system resilience.

The solution?

🌟NEW🌟 strength classes using resistance bands and bodyweight to complement your yoga practice, not replace it. Keep an eye on your email and our timetable for six new classes coming your way from 2026.

AHHH December 😱 The month that somehow manages to feel exciting and utterly exhausting… all at the same time 🤪

It’s the season of lists, plans, end-of-year everything and that strange mix of “I can’t wait for a break” and “how is the year over already?”

If you’re feeling a bit stretched thin, you’re not alone - most of us are carrying more than we let on this time of year.

So here’s my December intention: Move gently, breathe before reacting, take things slower than my brain wants me to and protect the pockets of calm I know I need.

No rushing to “finish strong.”
No pressure to do December perfectly.
Just choosing steadiness over stress, presence over panic and tiny moments of grounding in the middle of the holiday noise.

🦶Is arthritis in your feet or toes making simple tasks like walking or standing feel like a struggle? 😖 It might sound counter-productive but movement is the key!

Add these gentle movements into your daily routine to help ease discomfort and improve movement. Aim for consistency rather than intensity and always listen to your body. Modify the movements as needed to suit your individual needs and comfort level. 💜 Charley
