Struggling to find a yoga class to accomodate your specific needs? We can help! Our experienced team led by yoga therapist Charley Hickey C-IAYT specialise in:

Our friendly classes are open level and gently paced with an emphasis on breathing and awareness. We run in terms but you can join partway through if space permits. If you think you are too old, too stiff or out of shape to do yoga then you have come to the right place. This type of yoga class is fantastic for those that might suffer from old injuries, back or neck problems and have been unable to participate in more vigorous movement classes. Rolling, pushing, kneeling, standing - these are movements we don’t practise unless we mean to. And they’re the ones that quietly matter.

Someone with sore knees compared to weak leg muscles or shoulder restriction will need to work slightly differently. There’s ALWAYS a way to get better!

Reaching both arms fully overhead isn’t comfortable for everyone.

Cactus arms (elbows bent at shoulder height) give you many of the same benefits - opening through the chest and strengthening the upper back... without the same demand. It’s softer...

Meditation isn’t about having a blank mind. It’s about noticing when your thoughts wander off into planning, remembering or problem-solving and gently bringing your attention back.

Some days that might happen five times. Some days five hundred!

If you have stairs at home - you have a leg strength machine 🙌🏻

These stair sit-to-stands are brilliant for building strength, confidence, and control using something you already use every day.

Use the rail for support and stability. If you want more challenge, move your feet up one extra step.

Strong legs make a huge difference to everyday life - especially things like getting up off the floor, getting out of chairs, and feeling steady moving around your home.

No fancy equipment.

Just real-life movement for real-life bodies.

Save this to practise later and send it to someone who also has stairs 😉

We’re in our fourth week of the new term 😀 And while you might not feel dramatically different… things are changing.

You might notice:
✅ Getting down to the floor feels slightly less awkward
✅ You breathe without thinking about it
✅ Your body complains a little less in the mornings

Progress at this stage often looks like,
“Hmm… that felt easier than last time.”

So if you’ve been showing up - keep going.
If you’ve missed a class - come back 😅
Your body adapts quietly, but it adapts.

And that’s worth sticking around for.
