Ever found your mind wandering during yoga? Enter Drishti.

This focused gaze is a means for developing concentrated intention, helping you to stay present in the moment and fully engaged in the task at hand.

It’s often used during yoga practice and aids balance and alignment. By directing your gaze towards a specific point, your attention follows, bringing a deeper level of focus and concentration to your practice.

So, whether you're holding a challenging pose or seeking calm in meditation, your Drishti can be a powerful tool. 💜 Charley

WE ARE BACK! 😍

Classes start today after a refreshing 2 weeks off. We've been counting down the days to see your smiling faces again and we are also excited to see some new faces at Charleyoga.

Get ready to enjoy our new term theme "Balance, Flow & Rest" which is all about cultivating warmth and stability during these colder months.

Classes will be designed to help you build warmth, improve circulation, and find inner balance with plenty of hibernation-like stillness as well! Each teacher will bring a different flavour to this theme since we promote individual creativity and exploration.

See you on the mat! 💜 Charley & her AMAZING Team :)

Gratitude isn’t just a good vibe - it’s a practice.

And like yoga, the more you show up for it, the more it shows up for you ✨

Gratitude doesn’t mean pretending everything’s perfect. It means noticing the small stuff (the little moments that usually slip by unnoticed).
Want to try a simple gratitude practice this week?

Grab a notebook, napkin or open a note on your phone, jot down:

🌟 One thing you saw today that made you smile
🌟 One thing you did that you’re proud of
🌟 One person you’re grateful for (and bonus points if you tell them)

It only takes a minute. But it’s powerful 👊

Gratitude helps us shift from what’s missing to what’s already here. And honestly? There’s more here than we think. 💜 Charley

What’s one thing you do to stay grounded when life gets hectic?

Here’s mine 👇

I schedule my self-care time into our family calendar and I treat it just like any other important appointment. Work meeting? Doctor visit? Same level of priority.

The best part? Our whole family does it. We all know when someone’s taking their time out and we respect it.

It keeps us grounded, connected and way less snappy when life gets chaotic 😅

What’s your go-to when things feel a bit much? 💜 Charley x

Staying active and engaged is one of the best things we can do for ourselves as we age!

It’s not about doing headstands or pushing limits - it’s about moving in ways that feel good, keeping the mind sharp and staying connected to ourselves and others.

That’s where yoga comes in.

It supports strength, balance, flexibility and focus (all at once). Plus, it meets you where you’re at.

And it’s not just physical. The breathing, the mindfulness, the little pauses - they all help us manage stress, improve sleep and feel more grounded day to day.

So if you’re looking for a way to stay active, engaged and a little more present - yoga’s a great place to start (or start again).

You don’t need to be flexible. You just need to begin. 💜 Charley

Exciting news! By popular demand, we've transformed elements from our beloved 6-week Start Your Daily Meditation Habit course into a series of workshops. 🧘‍♀️

The content redefines what meditation is, expands your understanding of energy shifts perspectives around loving kindess & self-care practices. It is a mixture of theory, practice & discussion. It's called ""part 2"" but you don't need to have attended part 1 yet, as long as you have a little yoga or meditation experience, it's fine to attend them in reverse order 🤪

With the right guidance, meditation can be simple and accessible.

Let us show you how! Join us on Sunday, 24th August 2025, from 1.30pm to 4.30pm at the Wetlands Centre in Bibra Lake.

We hope to see you there! 💜 Charley

Ever find yourself caught in a whirlwind of overthinking? Let's talk about the gyan mudra a simple hand gesture. 🙏 (see what I did there, it's another hand gesture!)

Also known as the gesture of consciousness, gyan mudra involves connecting the thumb and index finger while the other three fingers remain straight or relaxed. I like both depending on my mood.

This mudra is more than just a hand position. It's a tool that can help redirect your energy and focus. It's said to create a circuit that directs energy back into the body to encourages a state of balance and inner peace. I think it's nice for giving novel sensory input and focus.

When thoughts start to spiral, take a moment to us it. Close your eyes, breathe easily and see what happens.

It's a small gesture with a big impact. Give it a try next time your mind starts to race. 💜 Charley

There's something truly special about practicing yoga in a group setting.

The energy, the shared intention, the sense of community - it all combines to create a powerful and uplifting experience.

In our classes, you're not just another face - You're part of a supportive community, a collective of individuals all on their own unique journey.

Together, we breathe, we stretch, we grow.

So, why not join us for our new term starting 21 July?

Experience the power of community in a yoga class. We can't wait to welcome you. 💜 Charley
