The more you feel it, the more you believe it.
My life before reiki is unrecognisable to the life I live now, and more than that- how I show up in the world. The personal development journey I have been on actually amazes me sometimes when I think back to who I was before (don’t worry, I don’t think my growth is over), how I viewed the world, how I felt being in my body, being who I was, how afraid I was to show anybody the real me because my biggest fear was rejection but when I broke down that fear I realised that that was all it was- fear. What does it even mean to be rejected? That someone else doesn’t accept you? So fu***ng what lol. Are you really going to compromise being who you are for an unreliable acceptance from other people? I remember this quote that I thought was so cute “you can be the sweetest juiciest peach and still meet someone who doesn’t like peaches” and that’s really the truth. You will never be accepted by everyone in the world. The only reliable and stable person to always accept you is you. Start now.
