Motherhood this year for me is about acceptance, Acceptance of him and acceptance of me.
Navigating this path of tween hood and a being a new generation of parents, juggling the very captive and evil tech boom ! Boom for creating boredom, boom for creating anxiety and boom for killing creativity but most of all killing the art of good old fashion social skills!
I feel blessed to navigate this all with my friends and family and us all fumbling through the boundaries.
I decided to purchase my 50th millionth app on parenting defiant,delicious adhd kids this week and I am sitting in bed telling my son that I am not going to read a paperback while I do this course. His response and as sharp as a tack ?? ‘Is it on being a better mum? ‘ mmmm seems I also learnt resilience this year as well 😳😆
Happy Mother’s Day to all aspects of motherhood. Dog mums, aunty mums, grandmums. We all feel the same, endless unconditional love. ###
