If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I’m not a love-and-light, sugar-and-spice, all-things-nice kind of teacher 😅
I am both soft and powerful, dark and kind. Holding the full spectrum of what it means to be human is an ongoing journey of unraveling our conditioning.
If you’ve ever felt called by the dark — archetypes like Lilith, Hekate, or Sekhmet — but find yourself holding back, there’s a good reason: conditioning.
Many of us fear facing the darker aspects of ourselves — the parts that experience rage, jealousy, envy, and hatred. We’d rather pretend these emotions don’t exist, hoping we can ‘rise above.’ And while I’m not advocating for acting on these feelings, it’s crucial to embrace them rather than bypass them.
But here’s the thing: you can only meet the Dark Goddess as deeply as you’ve met your own darkness.
If you approach this work without having faced your own shadows, you might bump into fear, old stories, and limiting beliefs. You may even experience these archetypes as harsh, demanding, judgmental, or volatile. But that’s just your own unintegrated parts reflected back to you.
Lately, I’ve been working with an archetype with a reputation for being critical and harsh — some even call her ‘evil.’ But my experience has been full of self-compassion and healing. Their mythology and stories have helped me see and heal aspects of myself that needed attention.
If I’d met this archetype earlier in my journey, the experience would’ve been very different!
What could change for you if you released the fear of your own darkness?
💫 Your world changes when you stop viewing it through unresolved shadows. Imagine:
✨ Stepping into your power without fearing you’re ‘too much.’
✨ Attracting abundance, free from limiting beliefs.
✨ Aligning with your purpose — clear, empowered, and ready to create what your soul came here to do.
The freedom, joy, and wealth you seek are on the other side of this journey.
Join me on 9 November at the Unfurl retreat in Perth. 8 spots left. Early bird ends soon!
