Shine Therapies Clinical Hypnotherapy Clinical hypnotherapy and remedial massage by Natasha Stone operating from two clinics, Gildercliff

Hypnotherapy:
Hi, I'm Natasha, I'm a clinical hypnotherapist and strategic psychotherapist, having attained my Diploma of Hypnotherapy and Strategic Psychotherapy Therapy in 2020 at the in Sydney, Australia. I work with people to help bridge the mind body connection to bring a greater sense of well-being in their life. I’ve been practicing in the health and wellne

ss field since 2009 and in that time, I've treated more than a 1000 people on their own unique paths of the journey of health and healing. I regularly gain more certification in pain management and mind based sciences in treating inflammatory conditions with a mentor in the health sector. Insomnia and immunity are areas that have had a big impact on her work as a remedial massage therapist and she finds that some conditions ask for more cognitive and mindfulness based treatments along with body therapies. I’ve have worked closely with organisations like Solariscare, Brightwater group, Rocky Bay and at various hospitals and clinical settings, helping people through very difficult periods in their life, such as cancer treatments, using my mind and body treatments. Some of the things that I teach in those settings in addition to hypnotherapy are mindfulness, breath work, and the science of mind-body connection, which is an area that I'm deeply passionate about and think we all need to know more about. Physical pain and other types of pain are of course a burden that makes us feel stuck and like we can’t move forward. With science-based mind therapies, and some of my physical therapies as well like reflexology and remedial massage, I’ve managed to help lift that burden and guide people to move forward in a really meaningful and long-lasting way. It makes me happy to see people smiling again, feeling light and unburdened. Massage :
I attained my Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy at the Challenger Institute of Technology, whilst studying a Diploma of Reflexology at AAOWT. The rigorous training a two year diploma involves includes sports massage, deep tissue massage, PNF, trigger point release, assessment technique, pregnancy and specialised oncology massage. My special interest is in manual lymph drainage massage, and assessment and treatment of chronic pain conditions. I have received many great testimonials from her clients over the past twelve years in regards to my abilities to relieve headaches, shoulder, neck tension and sinus problems, swelling and low immunity, mindfulness and breath work. I have worked for a year as a massage therapist with the Brightwater Care Group. Rocky Bay found me embracing working with people challenged by conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, acquired brain injury and Parkinson’s Disease.

Do you get a rush of feel good hormones when you bite or pick at your nails? Here is one of the exercises used in my nail biting therapy combined with hypnosis that really worked.

You can click on the following link to obtain a free 15 minute consult to talk about nail biting.

Each night for a week, look at each of your fingers at the end of the day, and speak to the fingernail saying things like “I’m sorry I chewed on you today, you’ve been so good to me as a friend, and I’ll try to give you more care and nurturing tomorrow.” Or “Look at you, I haven’t bitten you at all , even when I’ve been stressed!” Or “oh look at you ring finger, you deserve not to look like an animal has chewed at you!”

Where ever you are, take a moment to breathe.
Inhale to the count of 4.
Hold to the count of 4.
Exhale to the count of 4.

Now image a warm, beautiful beam of light flowing over the top of your head and flowing over your face and neck and over your body.

It melts away tension in your body, warming and releasing the muscles of your body. Softening, relaxing. Relaxed now. Allow the quietness of this moment to soothe you.

Self-compassion can go up and down just like self-esteem can but when we nurture self compassion and let it grow through various means, including just being aware of the concept, it grows and grows and grows. Some ways to learn about self-compassion are:

- learning about being in the present moment, or mindfulness
- encouraging others to be unconditionally loving towards themselves
- being our own best friend
- rituals of self-care and self-compassion, finding out what things we can do to nurture ourselves.
- Reading about and podcasts about self-compassion.
- When things are difficult learning to soothe ourselves like we would soothe our own best friends and family.

Developing self-compassion means that whatever happens in our life we can be soothing and nurturing towards ourselves and remember that we are human. A sense of compassion that is more deep rooted as well..

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of daily life and struggling to find a way to cope? Do you find yourself constantly looking for distractions to avoid dealing with your thoughts and feelings? If so, it might be time to start incorporating exercise into your routine. Exercise is a powerful tool for building mental resilience and can help alleviate stress and anxiety.

One of the biggest challenges when starting an exercise routine is figuring out how to make it work with your existing schedule and budget. However, starting small and finding ways to incorporate exercise into your daily routine can make all the difference. For example, you could cycle to work or walk the kids to school instead of driving.

It's also important to find an exercise routine that you enjoy and that is sustainable in the long term. This could mean joining a gym or a sports club to help build a community of like-minded individuals who can offer support and motivation.

Avoid comparing yourself to elite athletes or feeling discouraged by their achievements. Remember that everyone has to start somewhere, and progress is made through small steps and consistent effort.

Finally, it's essential to focus on the reasons why you can start exercising, rather than the reasons why you can't. By making exercise a priority in your life, you can build mental resilience and improve your overall well-being. Shine Therapies Sports Hypnotherapy can help you get started on your journey to a healthier, happier you.

Hypnotherapy is a popular alternative therapy that uses hypnosis to induce a trance-like state in which an individual is more open to suggestion. It has been used for various issues such as smoking cessation, anxiety, and phobias.

The hypnosis statistics provide valuable information on its effectiveness and prevalence, which can help individuals and healthcare professionals make informed decisions on its use as a treatment option.

For instance, the study on self-hypnosis for asthma showed an 82% success rate over six years. Similarly, self-hypnosis and relaxation therapy were shown to be effective in reducing anxiety symptoms, with the self-hypnosis group exhibiting greater confidence and improvement than the relaxation therapy group.

Moreover, the study on self-hypnosis combined with cognitive therapy for psychological issues relating to s*x showed that it was more effective than cognitive therapy alone, with fewer sessions required, less likelihood of relapse, and more client satisfaction. The understanding of hypnosis statistics can also contribute to ongoing research and development in the field of hypnotherapy.

In conclusion, hypnosis statistics are important for those considering hypnotherapy as a treatment option and for healthcare professionals who may recommend it to their patients. It can help increase confidence in its efficacy and inform treatment decisions.

How Hypnotherapy Helps Dramatically with Fight and Flight or Constant Stress

During a hypnotherapy session, the conscious mind is quietened so that the subconscious mind is spoken to in a very direct way. In the highly focused and very calming state of hypnosis, we shift from the fight or flight state (the sympathetic nervous system) to the or safe state in a long-term rather than temporary way, and it is here that the PNS, the parasympathetic nervous system is activated.

Meditation

Meditation does not have to be a difficult practice even if the mind is busy. It can be done for 5 mins on waking, at a morning tea break or when feeling stress to just go away from the situation or trigger for a while and breathe into the belly, hold and breathe out of the belly. Whilst doing this practice regularly will create more awareness of the spaces between moments of difficulty and stress.

How easy is Mindfulness?

It starts with practice and consistency.
Mindfulness can be just being 100 percent there with the squeezing of the juice or totally in the moment when patting an animal. Feeling the senses is one of the keys to mindfulness and practising consistently every day builds a momentum.
Consistency having front of mind each day to practice mindfulness builds a momentum toward feeling more at ease with things that come our way.
