May we remind ourselves that as human beings we have the ability to make choices that will not always be right and then we would hope for patience, understanding, and help to make better decisions by those around us. Let’s not forget to offer that too 💕Rebecca Royle (Registered Clinical Counsellor)

The power in being present with another with the intent to understand is powerful. When we enter fix it we may lose the value of truly showing compassion and respect for the person’s story. We could become judges instead of empathetic witnesses. 🌷

Some struggles are invisible to others—but never to God. If you have been carrying silent worries, emotional fatigue, or unspoken longings, Christ knows you and He sees the hidden struggles.

In the midst of uncertainty, busyness and dismay may we never forget the power of kindness for another and the need for courage in the face of life’s challenges.

May we pause and seek to understand 🌷

In seasons of noise and pressure, we are invited into stillness—not striving.🤍
We do not need to solve everything today. Having quiet moments help regulate us so that we can respond with care and not overwhelm.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, gentle support can help you process what feels heavy.
🌿 We are allowed to slow down.

The scripture is such a powerful reminder that we serve a Saviour who is in control of our lives and our call is to Trust. Uncertainty can feel overwhelming. But God does not ask us to have all the answers—He invites you to trust Him step by step.

In our frailties we may try to control the narrative of our lives and there is value in wise stewardship yet our understanding is limited and we’re challenged to recognize and place ourselves under the authority and unlimited perspective of a caring Father.

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
Rest is not weakness. Jesus invites the weary to pause.
If exhaustion has followed you into this season, it may be your soul asking for care—not criticism

The author writes that growth is possible when we can agree to be open to disagreements and hear opinions in order to broaden our minds to other perspectives and thoughts.

We have 2 adult children and one teen at home and many times I have to stop and listen as they make valuable points and their opinions matter to me. We are not obliged to change our opinion but refusing to accept another point of view may be our own internal conflicts and insecurities.

A stance of curiosity always helps I find even in the counselling room with my clients. 🌷

Grief work, I consider to be one of the most privileged and sacred spaces, I get to sit in with my clients. It’s a space where extensive knowledge is not the ultimatum but kindness, gentleness, care and compassion is needed more than anything. 🤍
