At Adult & Teen Challenge WA (ATCWA), we are driven by a mission to put Hope In Reach for individuals seeking freedom from the grip of addiction. If you’re looking to make a real difference in the lives of people struggling with drug, alcohol and other addictions, then this is the role for you!

We are currently seeking both Male and Female Support Workers to join our dedicated team at our rehabilitation centre in Gibson, Western Australia. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with residents, engaging with them as they progress through their rehabilitation journey and empowering them to lead restored lives.
What’s involved?

Your day-to-day will be varied, rewarding and impactful:
• Provide compassionate care and support services to residents in our rehabilitation program.
• Work alongside residents, offering guidance as they develop and practice new skills for long-term change.
• Monitor personal care and hygiene of residents, supporting the improvement of life skills.
• Facilitate recreational games, activities and community involvement.
• Collaborate with a passionate, live-in, on-site team committed to helping residents succeed.

This is a live-in position with board and lodging provided.

We are looking for a Male Student Services Case Worker to join our team at our Head Office in Warwick. Your role will be to oversee the intake and case management of male students.

Adult & Teen Challenge WA Inc (ATCWA) is a not for profit organisation that exists to see people freed from addiction; transforming their lives together with their family and the community.

Initially this role is a part time position, with the potential for full time for the right candidate.

What your role will look like:
• Assist men to enter Rehabilitation Program:
• Attend to enquiries about the ATCWA program from males;
• Interview males to discuss their situation and outline the program
• Follow up with them with the entry process;
• Arrange entry date;
• Follow up with males after leaving program as requested.
• Any other duties outlined by management.

Case Management through Sober Peer:
• Oversee case management of male intakes;
• Review and update intake process as required;
• Be involved in Sober Peer and program development of educational services provided to students;
• Liaise with Student Case Manager(s) at Grace Academy Esperance.

The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of ATCWA.

Critical success factors:
• Comfortable with, and living out, the Christian ethos of ATCWA;
• Able to demonstrate key skills and experience needed to fulfil the role with excellence;
• Gifted in administration, forward thinking with the ability to multi-task and to adapt quickly to changing priorities;
• Exceptional communication skills who can engage respectfully with a diverse range of people;
• Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products;
• Would be highly favourable to have worked within a not-for-profit or charitable organisation with experience in drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs.
• Would be highly favourable to have either lived experience, a Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs or Certificate IV in Community Service.
• Current Police Certificate and WWC check.
